HARRY TRICKER was another horse to make the six figure mark when the Coombelands Racing Stables consigned gelding sold to Russell MacNabb for 125,000 guineas. The three year old son of HERNANDO, out of the Listed winning KATY NOWAITEE will now go in to training with Gary Moore, after MacNabb fought off the interests of Ginger McCain and Bobby O'Ryan. He will now bid to follow in the footsteps of many other high profile sons of Hernando who have reveled over obstacles and looks to have an exciting future ahead of him.

Kilminfoyle House Stud consigned the Point to Point and Bumper winner PUTNEY BRIDGE, who sold to Simon Christian for 50,000 guineas. The five year old son of SLIP ANCHOR, out of an own sister to Group 2 King Edward VII Stakes winner BUSTOMI also ran a close fourth in a winners bumper at Naas, in which the winner has since won at Grade 3 level over hurdles. Matt Coleman, of Anthony Stroud Bloodstock showed plenty of interest in the horse, but could not match the final bid made by Simon Christian and the gelding will now go in to training with Helen Lewis.

The Darley consignment is always well received at Doncaster and Bobby O'Ryan showed a particular interest when signing for two of the draft. OVERRULE, a strapping three year old son of DIESIS, had won over 1 mile 2 furlongs before coming under the hammer and he will now go in to training with Brian Ellison after changing hands for 48,000 guineas. TIAN SHAN had won or been placed on all of his three starts when trained in France by Andre Fabre where the three year old son of BARATHEA finishing second in Listed company and third in a Group 3 race at Longchamp after winning on his debut. He will now go in to training with Dermot Weld and is sure to be an exciting prospect over hurdles.

DBS Managing Director, Henry Beeby, commented:

'We finished 2007 as we started with a spectacular price for a Horse in Training.

Our January Sales enjoyed a top price of 300,000 guineas and we have finished our Doncaster year with a top price of 220,000 guineas, our thirty-seventh six figure lot of the year.

Today has witnessed another vibrant and strong trade for all levels of Horses in Training and we now look forward to our market leading National Hunt Breeze-Up at Cheltenham next Friday.'
