DBS Stores Spring to success at Cheltenham

Shakalakaboomboom and Quantitativeeasing led a DBS double at Chelt6neham this weekend when winning the Grade 3 Majordomo Hospitality Chase and the Grade 3 Spinal Research the Atlantic 4 Gold Cup respectively.

Shakalakaboomboom was last winning at the Punchestown Festival and the son of Anshan followed this up with success at Cheltenham. He is making up in to an exciting chaser and Liam Breslin and Nicky Henderson and connections believe that the seven year old could make up in to a Grand National prospect. He was sold Netherset Stud to Highflyer Bloodstock for £20,000 at the DBS Spring Store Sales 2008.

Quantitativeeasing is an own brother to the Grade 1 winning Asian Maze and had finished second in the Grade 3 Paddy Power Gold Cup at Cheltenham on his previous start. He managed to build on that form with a convincing victory and the son of Anshan will now be aimed at similar races at Cheltenham in January and March next year. The six year old was sold Rathmore Stud to Highflyer Bloodstock for £37,000 at the DBS Spring Store Sales 2008.
