HIT graduate Overturn wins Grade 2 Coral Hurdle at Ascot

19/11/2011

DBS graduate Overturn was the impressive winner of the Grade 2 Coral Hurdle at Ascot this afternoon.

Sent off at 5/2, the seven year old made all at a strong pace under Jason Maguire and put in a strong hurdling display.  Overturn went clear from 3 out, however Oscar Whisky was closing approaching the last where he fell, leaving Overturn to ease to a well deserved victory by a distance to his nearest rival.  The Champion Hurdle could be on the cards for the winner, who was purchased by his trainer Donald McCain at the 2009 October HIT Sales at DBS.
